There once was a time when the only kind of phone we used was one wired to a wall.
Since then, most of us have come to view as “normal” the fact that we can have conversations anywhere at anytime. We’ve come to take for granted the convenience such capability offers, the peace of mind that comes with being able to reach our loved ones wherever they may be, and the security and safety afforded by the ability to contact the police, the fire department, or to summon an ambulance in a moment of need.
That convenience, peace of mind and safety of a wireless phone comes at a cost, however, one that some members of our society simply haven't been able to afford. Until now.
It is our honor to be part of a program that has such a dramatic effect on the lives of low-income individuals.
